:: Anti-Aging Metabolic Rejuvenation ::

The Metabolic Rejuvenation Program was created to help give our patients more energy and the opportunity to look and feel younger. Every patient that comes to the Center for Metabolic Wellness has a unique body chemistry, eating habits and social habits. Your program will be individual and will assist your body's ability to clear out toxins and heal itself. A balanced, healthy body enhances life's possibilities, perspectives and joys.

Our approach is based upon correcting the patient's metabolism by identifying and correcting many of the components listed below:

  • Cravings due to neurotransmitter imbalances (brain chemicals)
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Chronic sleep deprivation
  • Depressed metabolism due to decreased muscle mass from chronic dieting
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Insulin resistance
  • High cortisol levels due to chronic stress
  • Food allergies and gastrointestinal conditions
  • Toxic burden (environmental chemicals) that cause weight gain or make it difficult to lose weight

As you can see from this list, weight loss resistance is a complex issue resulting from a variety of factors. This is why there are individuals who "eat right and exercise right" who still find it extremely difficult to lose weight and keep it off. To be more specific, although the term "weight loss" is commonly used, the key is to lose body fat and increase lean muscle mass. If an individual simply focuses on weight loss without regard to what is happening with body composition, he/she can actually cause more metabolic damage. In order to lose fat and maintain or increase lean body mass, you need to have a healthy metabolism. This becomes a process of healing so that you can get healthy and lose weight. The more damaged your metabolism is, the longer it can take to heal it before you see significant weight loss. The reality is that you must be healthy to lose fat. For this reason, body composition testing should be a part of any weight loss program.

Ten years ago the Japanese Enzyme Bath was unknown in the United States. Now over 50,000 people have experienced this unique heat treatment, and many more have heard about it.

Why is this? The enzyme bath works on the metabolic system by affecting enzyme activity throughout the body. The action of the enzyme bath imitates much of the work that is constantly being performed by the internal organs to produce both heat and enzyme activity inside the body. When the body is immersed in this bio-active medium, circulation and metabolism are stimulated from outside, giving a boost to the internal organs which usually perform these functions on their own. This is part of the reason the bath is both relaxing and energizing at the same time!

The heat in the enzyme bath is produced biologically by fermentation, nature's purification process, which requires the presence of over 600 active enzymes. The largest organ of the body, the skin, comes in direct contact with intense enzyme activity in the enzyme bath. The bath, in addition to heat, produces its own electro-chemical environment. There are over 3,000 different enzymes in every cell of living tissue. This combination of heat and energy influences the enzymes in your body in many ways.
